The Trees of Christmas at Cheekwood Botanical Gardens in Nashville!

Since I was a little girl growing up in Nashville, TN, I have visited Cheekwood Botanical Gardens time and time again!  As the daughter of an avid gardener, I spent many a spring, summer, fall AND winter day on the beautiful grounds of the Cheek Family Estate.

From hunting Easter eggs to having a surprise 18th birthday party there, Cheekwood has always been a place of happy activities – they always manage to have a lot to do and see throughout the year.

It was a real treat on December 23rd to be able to go with my Mom and my two nephews and niece to view the Trees of Christmas.  These were all Christmas trees that had been decorated by various businesses in Nashville – they each had a Christmas book theme that they went along with – here are some of the pics from the day!

My personal favorite – the Grinch Tree!

You’re a mean one, Mr. Grinch!

Chris and I enjoy standing with the Outside Tree under the elaborate arbor surrounded by huge wisteria vines!

And a good time was had by all!  (L to R:  Chris my nephew, Barbara my lovely mommy, Taylor my niece and Michael my other nephew!)  Thanks, Mom, for treating all of us!!!

Thanks Cheekwood – we had a GREAT time!!!
