Listed on the Market for Sale in Nashville’s Brookview Forest – the beautiful 3524 Fairmeadows Drive!
UPDATE: This property has been SOLD!
When I was growing up in Nashville, I recall that a drive out to Holt Road was quite an adventure into the “country”. When I became a Realtor 9 years ago, I was surprised to see how much the Edmondson Pk/Holt Rd corridor had grown! Now my sister and her family live close to that area, as well as many of my friends and clients.
The Brookview Forest subdivision is located off of Holt Road in between Edmondson Pike and Nolensville Road. There are around 170 homes in the subdivision, along with a community swimming pool and playground. I am so honored to have my newest listing be in Brookview Forest.
3524 Fairmeadows Drive was built in 2008 by Drees Homes. The floor plan is Marion ‘C’, and it boasts 4 bedrooms, 3.5 bathrooms and 2997 square feet. The listing price is $389,900.
Let’s take a tour!
Here’s the front of the house – you will notice it is all brick with the exception of the stone veneered covered porch and the shakes above the garage. A level driveway leads to a two car garage.
Walk up the sidewalk and stairs onto the covered porch on the front side of the house.
Upon entering the house, the Foyer greets you with its’ hardwood floors, designer lighting and arched doorway.
After walking a few steps into the house, you will notice the Dining Room to your left. With wainscoting, a gorgeous chandelier and hardwood floors, this 14’5″x10’3″ room will seat quite a lot of people and leave you plenty of space for a china cabinet or breakfront.
Directly opposite the Dining Room, double doors lead you to the formal Living Room. Currently being used as an Office, the Living Room is 9’11″x12’8″, has hardwood floors and lots of natural light from the double window.
Continuing straight down the hallway of the Foyer, pass through the arched doorway and enter the Family Room (14’7″x23′). With its’ soaring two-story ceilings, gas fireplace, designer ceiling fan and wall of windows, this gathering space is wonderful! Open to the Kitchen, this extremely livable area invites you to stay a while.
Here is another view of the Family Room. In this photo I would like to point out the windows again. There are blinds on each one which are accessible from the floor, and the arch over the upper central window echoes the arches on the doorways and nooks in other areas of the house.
This photograph shows the openness of the Kitchen to the Family Room. Sit at the Breakfast Bar and talk with family and friends.
The next view finds us on the opposite side of the Family Room. You get an idea of the layout of the space. The Bonus Room is directly up the stairs and open to the Family Room and Kitchen. Not everyone will like this, but, as in many Drees homes, you can always finish out the drywall to the ceiling and enclose the Bonus Room if you wish.
Let’s focus now on the Kitchen (24’8″x9’8″). The dark honey-colored maple cabinets blend well with the lighter granite counters, Energy Star stainless steel appliances and the hardwood floors. The pendants really set off the raised counter top and the matching chandelier in the Eat-In Area coordinate well for a seamless look.
But the Kitchen isn’t just beautiful. It’s really functional as well. Plenty of prep space next to the sink and a Breakfast Bar on the rounded end of the granite counter.
The Kitchen Pantry has lots of shelving and is convenient for storing what you want to be out of sight.
I LOVE this sink! It’s deep and wide and can accommodate as much as you need it to. Pair with it the sleek stainless steel faucet and it’s a winning combination!
The last part of the Kitchen is this Eat-In Area. Beyond the table, a bay bump-out has a door accessing the back deck and patio.
One more look at the Kitchen and Family Room from the bay window area.
Let’s move on to the main level Master Suite now. The spacious 17’11″x13′ Bedroom has a wall of windows and double doors which lead to the Master Bathroom.
The Master Bathroom is awesome! You know those high vanities that you don’t have to stoop down for? Yes, well, in this house ALL of the vanities are tall, including the double vanity in the Master Bath.
Enjoy relaxing in this spa-like garden tub or rinse off in the separate shower.
Last, there is a large Walk-In-Closet and a toilet (with a door), so getting ready will be a snap!
Time for a tour of the upstairs now! After walking up the stairs, turn to your right and you’re in the Bonus Room (24’3″x10’5″). This large space has a partial wall so there is open viewing of the downstairs. The openness gives this room a “loft” feel to it. There is a recessed area at the far left end of this room which currently has shelving. If you don’t like the exposure of the shelves, simply install two bi-fold doors in front of them and enclose it.
This picture is taken from the opposite side of the Bonus Room and gives you a better view of the partial wall.
Here is the largest of the three bedrooms upstairs (17’3″x13’1″). And what a darling bedroom it is! There is a bump-out for additional furniture or “flopping on the floor” space. This is the bedroom I wish I had as a child. 🙂
This bedroom has a sizeable closet – plenty of space for storing clothing and toys.
This upstairs Bathroom is in between Bedrooms One and Two. This Bathroom is separated into two rooms – one room has this vanity (with the taller counter height).
The other room houses the toilet and the shower.
Here’s the second upstairs Bedroom (10’6″x13′). Another adorable room!
And… another large closet in the second upstairs Bedroom.
The third upstairs bedroom (11’11″x10′) is a suite.
This is the Bathroom (another tall counter!) which is attached to the third upstairs Bedroom.
There are a couple of other rooms in the house to share with you. On the main level, next to the garage entrance, is the Laundry Room. With a large closet, shelving and tiled floor, this room functions wonderfully!
The last room is a Half Bath. This is also on the main floor just off the Family Room and across from the entrance to the Master Suite.
Now to the backyard! The house sits on 0.24 acres. The backyard can be accessed from the bay window area in the Kitchen. A short stroll down this deck, down a few stairs, and you are on the concrete patio.
The large concrete patio gives way to a lovely and level backyard. This is (literally) one of the highest points in the subdivision. A green screen is growing at the rear of the yard and will eventually fill in, providing extra privacy from the neighbors. Fences are also allowed.
The last photograph was taken from in front of the evergreens at the back of the yard. What a wonderful view of the house!
