Happy Thanksgiving 2016, Nashville! Things to Do…
Oh, Thanksgiving. That great American pigging-out and laying-around with family and friends day.
Well, if you want to do more than just lay around for Thanksgiving 2016, here are some options, Nashville style!
Today is what I call “Gotta Cook Wednesday”. That’s where the majority of us spend several hours preparing our most beloved fattening dishes that we will eat once or twice a year. But let’s say you don’t want to cook. Here are some restaurants which will be open on Thanksgiving Day.
On Thanksgiving Day, I love to watch the Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade. I don’t know why, but there is something nostalgic and all-American about it for me.
Our Thanksgiving feast is usually around noon. After we gorge ourselves on turkey and more, we clean up the dishes and then head for the infamous tryptophan nap! The nap is usually accompanied by the sounds of football in the background.
I’m not a big Black Friday shopper, but I know that lots of people are. In addition to the malls and department stores, here are some local businesses which will be open. Be sure to post what you got in the comments section. I will put the best finds on my facebook page!
Another outing I enjoy on Thanksgiving Day is going to the movies! Here’s what’s playing…
Hope this blog post was helpful and I wish everyone a great Thanksgiving Day 2016!
